Ivanhoe’s friend Lord Alan refuses to swear allegiance to Prince John. Not satisfied with merely confiscating Alan’s estate, Fron-de-Beouf, Bois-Guilbert and Malvoisin arrest the Lord and imprison him at York with all the Regent’s other opponents. But Prince John’s henchmen haven’t counted on Ivanhoe. With the help of Robin Hood and his faithful knights, our hero manages to rescue Alan, help him reconquer his estate, and restore his honour.
