Lala's father Gid Lucione Deviluke, the great ruler of the galaxy, is on his way to Earth. He wants to confront Rito to find out how he feels about his daughter. Rito can't answer the question because, despite all his sympathy for Lala, he is in love with Haruna. As punishment, Gid Lucione wants to kill Rito immediately and strikes the decisive blow.
