Alex is part of a garage-punk band in Guadalajara along with three of his closest friends. Although they have minimal musical ability and only one song, a catchy and explicit tribute to Natasha, they enjoy skateboarding, admiring women, and playing soccer when not practicing. Alex finds solace in these activities since his pious, elderly, and mute grandmother constantly disapproves of him. However, everything changes during his sixteenth summer as his family life becomes unstable, and he undergoes significant life changes.
