One day she is sitting in front of his door. In her red wedding dress and worn sneakers. She doesn't speak his language, she's actually too young for him, she comes from a completely different world, she also loves differently than he does - and yet the two become a couple. Johnny, a failed DJ and club owner from Hellersdorf, and Sophia, the Romni. Does she really run away from her wedding, really come straight from Belgrade, really love him as she claims? Johnny doesn't know. And at some point he doesn't care. The supposed bride has captured his heart. He is even ready to invite her parents when Sophia is homesick. This completely upsets his already complicated life. After all, not only mom and dad come to visit, but also siblings, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and so on. From one moment to the next, Johnny hosts an extended family within his four walls, each with their own needs. Above all, they want one thing from Johnny: for him to help them gain a foothold in Germany, to save them from deportation, to become their protector. And although it is difficult for him and he resists time and again, Johnny, who is already almost resigned, rises to new heights.
